This episode is about the relationship between technology and artist’s approach to visual and narrative. Barron Rachman explored journalistic photography, including war zone reporting and had an opportunity to learn film processing on expert level. In a show Barron talks about his unique art works: analog photographic images, processed with complex development techniques to create surreal results with complex narrative. We have discussed the technical aspects of creating surrealistic images both in lightroom and digitally, explored the question of artistic freedom in visual art and particularly in photography.
